Audio transformations can produce artifacts, change perceived loudness or fail on an unsupported format. Listen to the result before relying on it. Keep a separate copy of the source recording; a downloaded practice track is not a backup of the original file.

Supported scope

This browser tool changes the pitch and speed of a complete recording. It is intended for rehearsal and listening experiments. It does not promise transparent audio at every shift, automatic tuning, musical-key detection or compatibility with every browser or codec.

Open-source components

SoundTouchJS core, Lanczos and phase-vocoder components are distributed under MPL-2.0. The MP3 encoder, lamejs, is distributed under LGPL-3.0. Their code and notices are available in the third-party notices. Your audio is not licensed to this tool by opening a file.
